Luna Shadows Tour Dates and Upcoming Concerts

Luna Shadows writes and produces out of her bedroom in Los Angeles, shaping songs under the shade of the palms. Much like a spider, the singer-songwriter spins an ethereal web, pulling all the strings on her tracks. Each song: a layered and thoughtful production, and wholly her own. Emerging in 2016, Billboard called her debut “Some of the most refreshingly soulful and haunting indie pop to come out this year.” She rapidly captured the attention of the alternative scene with early single "Hallelujah California," which rose to #8 on Spotify’s US Viral Chart, and her catalog has since independently achieved 50 million streams across platforms. While she calls herself an “imperfectionist” in relation to her current artistic process, Luna Shadows is a classically trained pianist and wrote her first melancholy ballad at age eight. She spent four hours a day commuting by both boat and train across New York City to attend the world-renowned LaGuardia Arts High School as a vocalist before finally landing in Los Angeles. A transplant enchanted with the west coast, she wrote musical love letters to LA in her critically-acclaimed debut EPs Summertime and Youth. She continued to dedicate herself to California, setting her singles on its streets and her heart in its hands. In 2021, Shadows’ long anticipated debut LP "Digital Pacific" was released by +1 Records/EMPIRE, energizing hundreds of thousands of fans. With notable press from NYLON, W Magazine, PAPER, and LA Weekly, she’s gone on to collaborate with alternative acts like Meg Myers, The Naked & Famous, and RAC. Opening a window into her memories, Luna’s sophomore album "bathwater" promises all the polish of her previous work while demonstrating a deliberate and intimate lyricism. A collection of songs exploring love, loss, grief, realization, recovery, and remembering, these guitar-driven silhouettes mark the start of a new era for Shadows. Shapeshifting for us, Shadows trades sparkling electro pop for emotive indie rock. Written in isolation over the pandemic, she presents us with a record that is startlingly forgiving and optimistic, while confronting the pain she’s stumbled onto in her reflections. As the album’s sole lyricist, she searches for her best self in her darkest depths. She urges her listeners to uncover our own wounds, revisit our family histories, and allow ourselves to feel everything: good cannot exist without bad, and light would be nothing without dark.
