A l’initiative du chanteur anglais Paul Morgan, le groupe voit le jour en 2008. Accompagné de ses cinq musiciens, le groupe distille un reggae nu roots aux accents modernes. De la pop anglaise au dancehall, du one drop au dub, une alchimie se crée. Un subtile mélange qui propose un reggae envoutant et énergique. Durant sa carrière solo, Paul Morgan s’est vu accompagner l’emblématique groupe Burning Spear en tant que claviériste. De cette rencontre est né son goût pour la composition qui l’a propulsé sur scène avec des artistes de renom tels que Steel Pulse, Aswad, ou encore Culture... Véritable bagage musical qu’il a su injecter avec brio au sein de son band et qui transparait au travers des textes conscients aux sonorités poétiques. Le succès de leurs deux EP « Messengers » et « Over the mountains » a propulsé le jeune groupe à se produire avec des artistes que l’on ne présente plus. Notez Ziggy Recado, Jah Mason, Lyricson, Yaniss Odua, Lone Ranger, ou encore Jim Murple Memorial. Accompanied with by his five musicians, the group distills a roots reggae with modern accents. From English pop to dancehall, from one drop to dub, an alchemy builds itself. A subtle mix which proposes a mesmerizing and energetic form of reggae. During his solo career, Paul Morgan accompanied the prolific Burning Spear as keyboardist. This meeting was the birth of his taste for composition which propelled him on stage with renowned artists such as Steel Pulse, Aswad, or even Culture. Real musical baggage which he now injects brilliantly within his band, and which appears throughout the conscious texts, given in poetic style. The success of their two EPs « Messengers «, and « Over the mountains « propelled the group to perform with artists whom we do not present any more.
