2 Nights of Outstanding Shows from beginning to end …..Opened both nights with, “ One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest “, Solider Song”, B.Y.O.B.”, The OZZY tribute , “ Snowblind” was a nice add … and of course they did all of their best songs over the course of the 2 night stand….Prison Song, Darts, “Needles “, “Deer Dance”, “Suite Pee”, and the, “Radio/Video” > “Dreaming “ encore… on the first night a man was caught , master bating in the stands and flares were in the mosh pits both nights as well as people making love on the floor … it was quite the night(s) at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ !
MetLife Stadium New Jersey, NJThe band's show was wonderful, the best show I've ever seen in my life, the best ever. But the venue's infrastructure could be better, there was only one exit for the entire audience, which made it very difficult to leave after the show ended. Another problem was transportation, there was no organization on the part of the event to make public transportation more accessible on the day of the show. At the time of entry, the staff also did not allow the audience to enter with portable chargers, causing problems for the audience, since many left their devices and had to choose between filming and photographing the moment or leaving their phones charged for the return of the show.
Autódromo Interlagos São Paulo, BrazilThe venue is very unique. One way in and one way out. We went early enough in the afternoon that parking was not an issue. We parked over at the Shepherd West go station for $2. It was about a 25 minute walk to get to the venue. Once inside, everything was very conveniently located, there was lots of options and areas to purchase merchandise, food and beverages. The sound for the concert was pretty good. All four bands were really great. We sat up in the West stand section 106. The seats were comfortable and lots of legroom, but let’s face it, when SOAD came on, we pretty much stood the whole performance.
System of a Down: 10/10 Lotus: 1/10
Parque Estadio Nacional Santiago, ChileOverall, an amazing festival. Only Orgy was a disappointment, which is fine because I wasn't super attached to them. Kittie was a standout, I already loved their music, but wasn't expecting such a powerful performance and intense crowd. I even got to crowdsurf for the first time! SOAD was amazing too, and the setlist was nearly perfect. It started to rain in the middle of their set, which turned out to be a positive due to how the lasers and lights were lighting up the water when Radio/Video started to speed up. Overall, great fest aside from the foot pain.
