By personally aiming beyond your perceived potential, you can truly grow. That's been the case every time August Burns Red record an album, and it's quietly turned the Pennsylvania quintet-John "JB" Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [lead vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass]-into a two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated heavy music torchbearer. Their journey began back in 2003 with marathon jam sessions on a farm belonging to Greiner’s family in the egg refrigerator. Embracing a diehard Rust Belt work ethic, they tirelessly pushed towards the top of heavy music with a series of critically acclaimed albums and countless gigs. A hard-earned high watermark, 2015's Found In Far Away Places marked their second consecutive Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200. The single "Identity" notched a GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of "Best Metal Performance." A streaming juggernaut, both "Identity" and "Ghosts" [feat. Jeremy McKinnon] crossed the 3-million mark on Spotify. When it came time to record their eighth full-length Phantom Anthem [Fearless Records] with longtime producers Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland, the game didn't change. The musicians put their heads down and rallied around the same shared goal, uncorking a barrage of infectious intensity, the boys augmented and amplified the touchstones of their signature style on Phantom Anthem. The musical equivalent of a clenched fist haymaker, the grooves hit harder, the hooks blaze brighter, and the instrumentation ignites even more intricacy.

Loved this show! The opening band Ocean Grove was surprisingly good. The second band Erra was better than I remembered. I will definitely be listening to them more on Spotify! The only sour note was Born of Osiris. I just didn’t find them appealing at all and it kinda bummed me out. But then ABR came on and destroyed like always! I’ve seen these guys every year since 2006 and I am never disappointed! Go see this tour!
Ace of Spades Sacramento, CASick ass fucking show! These guys SLAYED!! From the PIT never stopping to the abundance of us crowd surfing - one of the best shows I've been to hands down! Also I want to shout out to the frontline of security at Stage AE! You guys don't get enough credit for making sure everyone's safe & allowing us to rock on 🤘 TDWP & Bleed Within did a killer performance as well! All around great fucking show!🤘🤙💕
Stage AE Pittsburgh, PAAmazing! All bands were rad🤘 crowd surfed three times and lost mind at every breakdown. Really enjoyed Crystal Lake. Their performance was amazing. They played like they were headlining. Shout out to Japan for them. ABR has come a long way and there was a bit of nostalgia at this show. All in all loved it and every band, Crystal Lake, Miss May I, Fit For a King, and August Burns Red, every band killlllllled it
The Glasshouse Pomona, CA4/10 show : Sylosis, ABR, Trivium, BFMV Overall Experience: B- Best Set: August Burns Red Least Fav Set: Sylosis Most Disappointing: Trivium Highlight moment: Flawless "Composure" live rendition Best Factor: The Poison / Ascendancy Songs Overall pretty good show. I was particularly impressed with ABRs sound and stage presence. I was disappointed in the sound during triviums set. I couldnt hear corey! They needed to turn their guitars way up! But great show nonetheless. Hard to beat those original 2005 albums! Great tunes!
Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas, NVABR put on a killer show! They absolutely murdered the stage and got everyone hyped up. The opening acts Void of Vison, Hollow Front, & We Came As Romans were awesome too and it was the best metalcore show i've been too. Would 100% recommend VIP if you have the opportunity because they are some of the nicest people you could ever shake hands with! 10/10 show \m/
