About Above Snakes

After years of grinding it out in Los Angeles, vocalist Johnny Skulls and guitarist Dax Dabs ditched the industry rulebook and returned home to Boston to build something on their own terms. The result was Above Snakes, a modern hard rock band fueled by grit, independence, and a relentless DIY mindset. Teaming up with producer Kile Odell (Papa Roach, Nothing More, Motionless in White), Above Snakes broke out with their 2020 debut single “Adrenaline,” landing on Loudwire's Weekly Wire, along with Fearless Records and Hopeless Records curated playlists. Follow-ups “Never Alone,” “The Broken Ones,” “Down” and "81 Thallium" continued to gain support from DSP's at Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora,Amazon and Audiomack along with support from Sirius XM Octane and Music Choice. Known for their hands-on approach, Skulls designs and builds the band’s visuals and creative assets, reinforcing Above Snakes’ ground-up ethos. The band has toured extensively across the U.S., sharing stages with From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, Blind Channel, Adelitas Way, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Motionless In White, In This Moment, and more, while appearing at iconic venues nationwide. With a reputation built on powerful live shows and unapologetic authenticity, Above Snakes continues to push forward. Back in February of 26, The band just supported No Resolve and Shallow Side, carrying their mission forward: modern hard rock done their way, loud, honest, and built to last. The band recently teamed up with #1 songwriter Johnny Andrews (Three Days Grace, Halestorm, The Funeral Portrait) for their current single "Make Amends" Management: Frank Mastalerz & Bob Hathaway FM MUSIC MANAGEMENT Booking: ANDREW GOODFRIEND TKO BOOKING
