Les Parisiens d’Arat Kilo ont fait de l’Ethio jazz, leur terrain de jeu musical. En y incorporant au fil des ans Hip-Hop, Soul, Dub ou Afrobeat, Arat Kilo a toujours veillé à ce que les volutes de fumée soient les plus voluptueuses et les plus envoûtantes possibles.
Lors du festival Au Fil Des Voix, en janvier 2017 à L'Alhambra, Arat Kilo a présenté (en avant première) sa création avec la diva Malienne Mamani Keita et le rappeur/slammeur Américain Mike Ladd !
L'idée de cette création est de prolonger les racines de ce métissage en faisant se rencontrer Afrique de L'Est et Afrique de l'Ouest, tout en ajoutant cette touche moderne de Hip-Hop qui est naturellement présente dans cette musique de par ses origines très funky.
