Alacranes Musical se inicía en el 17 de Junio de 1995 en la Ciudad de Aurora, Illinois. Un suburbío de la Ciudad de Chicago Illinois, orgullosamente representan el estado de Durango, Mexico de donde es originario el senor Oscar Urbina Sr. Fundador y con 29 años de trayectoria es una de las agrupaciones pioneras del movimiento Duranguense que aun sigue vigente, cuentan con 20 producciones discografícas, de las cuales 4 producciones son de disco de doble platino, 8 discos de oro y 2 de Diamante, ganadores del Latin Grammy 2009 y nominados al Grammy Americano ese mismo año. Ganadores de 4 Billboard Latinos, premios de la radio, Furia Musical, Premios Lo Nuestro y varios reconocimientos mas. Hoy en día Alacranes Musical siguen de gira y produciendo nuevos temas.
