After eight years away, A Lot Like Birds makes a striking return with their new single "When In Love" and a refreshed lineup featuring Kurt Travis, Michael Franzino, Andy Cizek, and Joe Arrington. The track showcases the band's powerful reinvention and includes an electrifying guest performance from Geoff Rickly, the iconic frontman of Thursday, whose passionate vocals add an unmistakable edge. Renowned for their fearless musical exploration, A Lot Like Birds has long blended intricate musicianship with raw emotional lyricism, pushing post-hardcore into bold and unexpected territory. The addition of Andy Cizek alongside core members Kurt and Michael, with longtime drummer Joe, ignites a new era of creative chemistry-one that channels the adventurous spirit of the band's early years while bringing fresh energy and perspective. More than just a comeback, "When In Love" is a statement of intent. The single merges the band's signature sound with Geoff Rickly's legendary voice, delivering a soaring and visceral experience. His presence deepens the track's intensity, bridging the legacy of the genre with the band's forward-looking vision. With renewed ambition and artistic focus, A Lot Like Birds enters this next chapter ready to reintroduce their transformative power and singular identity. This is more than a reunion-it's a reimagining. Each member and every collaboration is helping shape the band's continued evolution, ensuring their return feels not only vital but inevitable.
