Ayyuka’s music is heavily inspired by the psychedelic rock of the 70’s Turkish music but has a modern sound with microtonal ornaments which later became global with bands like KGWL, Altin Gün and Glass Beams. Inspirations of Dick Dale, John Frusciante, Marc Ribot and Erkin Koray make their music more guitar oriented but their fascination with film music and improvisation habits often add unexpected twists to their music.
