ネットミュージックシーンにて圧倒的な支持を得るシンガー/クリエーター‘そらる’と‘まふまふ’によるユニット。 2014年アルバム「アフターレインクエスト」より活動を開始、直ぐにその人気に火が付き翌年2015年に発表された2ndアルバム「プレリズムアーチ」では専門店でのチャート上位を席巻、大ヒットとなる。 2016年、After the Rainとして活動を開始、4月に発売されたアルバム「クロクレストストーリー」はオリコンウィークリー2位、そして7月にはコンサート「After the Rain 両国国技館2016 ~モーニンググロウ アフターグロウ~」を実施、12,000名のファンを魅了した。 2017年、自身初となるシングル「アンチクロックワイズ」(TVアニメ「クロックワーク・プラネット」ED)、「解読不能」(TVアニメ「アトム ザ・ビギニング」OP)を発売。ダブルタイアップの2枚同時リリースという離れ業にも関わらず、オリコンウィークリー3位 4位(デイリーでは1位 2位)を記録、同年8月には「After the Rain 日本武道館 2017 - Clockwise / Anti-Clockwise -」を実施、26,000名の動員を果たした。 12月には恒例のウィンターツアーも開催、新たなポップアイコンの成長は、今もなお加速を止めない。
