Assassin is a German thrash metal band that was founded 1983 in Düsseldorf. They released two thrash metal classics, The Upcoming Terror in 1987 and Interstellar Experience in 1988. The band split up in 1989, but after a 2003 reunion show at the Wacken Open Air, Assassin released a new album entitled "The Club" in 2005.
