Jeden z najsłynniejszych polskich zespołów bluesowych. Założony w 1965 jako Blackout przez Tadeusza Nalepę i Mirę Kubasińską. W 1968 roku zespół zmienił nazwę na Breakout. Charakterystycznym elementem muzyki Breakoutu jest "lamentująca" gitara Tadeusza Nalepy[jednego z najlepszych, jeśli nie najlepszego, w historii polskich gitarzystów], oraz głos Miry Kubasińskiej.
