Burst are a hardcore band from Sweden where they were formed in 1993. The band is known to add progressive elements to their music making them different from most of the other metalcore bands of today; their vocals are a mixture of melodic singing and screaming. They are currently signed to Relapse Records. They won the P3 Guld award in 2006, with their album, 'Origo.'
