Black Sea Dahu crafts music that feels like standing in a storm—raw, exposed, and profoundly alive. Led by Janine Cathrein, whose voice reveals sorrow and resilience in the same breath, the Swiss band blurs the lines between folk, pop, and rock, creating a sound that’s both vulnerable and ferocious. With a reputation for mesmerizing live performances, Black Sea Dahu has become one of Europe’s most captivating acts, selling out shows across the continent. Their music is known for its unflinching honesty, offering a space where vulnerability meets strength. Black Sea Dahu invites listeners into their world with music that refuses to hide and speaks truths many can’t find words for.
