Bandit Bandit rallume la mèche. Deux ans après un premier album, le duo le plus sulfureux du rock hexagonal revient avec “Cavalcades – Ce que la nuit ne dit pas”. Un disque plus frontal, plus catchy et d’une grande maîtrise. Premier coup de semonce : “Pas le Temps”, premier single de combat porté par une guitare hurlante et un flow nerveux. Sous la déflagration rock, une pulsation eighties à la Daho, élégante et venimeuse. La voix féminine y épingle ces mâles soi-disant “déconstruits” mais toujours prompts à enfermer les femmes dans des codes bourgeois : “Je n’ai pas besoin d’’un homme, je n’ai besoin de rien” ! La gifle est chic, mais elle laisse des marques. C’est là tout le savoir-faire de Bandit Bandit : tension entre désir et défi, entre caresse et morsure. La production est plus pure, plus aérée. Et côté songwriting, c’est un immense bond en avant. L’écriture du groupe n’a jamais été aussi directe et poétique. Aussi intime et politique.
