Der Sachsenschatz ist endlich wieder da. Und damit sind nicht etwa die protzigen Kronjuwelen aus dem Grünen Gewölbe gemeint, sondern die „Perlen“, die Blond auf ihrem zweiten Album glänzen lassen. Blond, das sind Nina und Lotta Kummer sowie Johann Bonitz, und Blond haben in den letzten Jahren bewiesen, dass sich Chemnitz und Glamour nicht ausschließen müssen. Wobei Blond eine ganz eigene Definition davon haben, was Glamour eigentlich ist, nämlich auch mal rotzig oder radikal und dabei trotzdem elegant. Die Band mischt immer wieder kleine Glassplitter unter ihren Indiepop-Glitter, weil blutige Finger und scharfe Kanten, weil kleine und große Narben eben auch zum Leben dazugehören. Auch zum Leben von weiblich gelesenen Personen, von dem die Gesellschaft nach wie vor ganz genaue Vorstellungen hat, wie es am besten sein soll. Blond aber erzählen, wie es auch sein kann: hübsch rosa und gleichzeitig wütend, trotzig und gleichzeitig glitzernd, zum Mitgrölen und Mitheulen, zum Zweifeln und Tanzen. Das Debütalbum „Martini Sprite“ erschien Anfang 2020 und servierte den blondspezifischen Chemnitzer „Las Vegas Glamour“ als erfrischendes Trendgetränk, geschüttelt und gerührt. Das Nachfolger-Album legt sich den Chemnitzer Las Vegas Glamour nun als edlen Schmuck an. 12 Songs, oder besser „Perlen“, haben die drei Chemnitzer:innen dafür aneinander gefädelt. Am Ende kann es jedenfalls nur eine einzige Erkenntnis geben: Es ist schön, es ist toll, Blondinator zu sein.
