byron are one of the defining bands of Romania’s rich alternative music scene, having been one of its driving forces since their inception in 2006. With eight studio albums and countless live shows both Romania and abroad, from clubs to major festival appearances, they have built one of the largest cult followings in their native country and continue to play a major role in its diverse, yet largely unexplored musical tapestry. Moving comfortably across a myriad of styles with progressive overtones, the brainchild of lead singer and principal songwriter Dan Byron is driven by a desire to push its own boundaries and blur the lines between genres, from raw, passionate rock to meticulously orchestrated pieces featuring unusual instrumentation, all rounded up by clever and profound lyrical poetry that captivates listeners of all ages.
