Everyone loves an underdog story, and Black Pontiac remains the most exciting newest example. The Vancouver, BC based quartet have spent the last several years slowly but surely developing a cult following throughout the Pacific Northwest; organizing, producing and promoting their own shows, tours and music in the spirit of their DIY upbringing. Main stage slots at Festivals such as Rifflandia quickly followed, and despite a lack of label support, streaming numbers continue to rise while shows continue to sell out throughout their native province of British Columbia, as their unique brand of ‘Cage the Elephant meets The Clash’ inspired party rock continues to astound, inspire and occasionally offend wherever they go.
