Byting er eit folkrock og countryinspirert band frå Bø i Telemark, kjent for ærlige tekstar på klingande dialekt og eit lydbilete der hardingfela står sentralt. Namnet «Byting» kjem frå gammal folketru og viser til eit barn som er bytta bort av underjordiske – eit bilete på noko som skil seg ut. Med røter i norsk folkemusikk og eit moderne uttrykk har bandet sidan 2013 markert seg som ei sterk stemme frå Midt-Telemark, med låtar som treffer både hjartet og allsangen.
