About Bernd Begemann
Irgendwann im Jahr 2003 machte sich Bernd auf die Suche nach einer neuen Band. Die neue Band sollte nicht die 4. Auflage der „Antwort“ sein, sondern etwas völlig Neues. Entsprechend musste auch ein neuer Name her. Nach einigem hin und her stand im März 2004 Line-Up und neuer Name: „Bernd Begemann & die Befreiung„
Bernd Begemann & Die BefreiungSeither sind die vier Musiker zu einer echten Band verschmolzen. Von Anfang an waren Achim Erz (Drums), Ben Schadow (Bass) und Kai Dohrenkamp (Keyboard) mehr als nur eine Begleit-Combo: Bei jedem Auftritt befreien sie Bernds Lieder aufs Neue.
Während Bernds Solo-Konzerte legendär für ihre Geschichten und Geschichtchen sind, in die sich der Sänger und Gitarrist immer wieder neu verstrickt, bis man fast vergessen hat, dass man eigentlich gerade in der Mitte eines Liedes steckt, sind die Auftritte mit der Band echte Rock-Konzerte: Es darf getanzt werden!
