About Camilo Séptimo
Camilo Séptimo Jonathan Meléndez (teclados), Manuel Mendoza (voz y bajo) y Erik Vásquez (guitarra) son tres músicos que después de conformar varios proyectos por separado, en 2013 coinciden en Camilo Séptimo, banda que a pesar de tener poco tiempo tocando, logra un sonido contundente y redondo, consecuencia de largos años de experiencia de sus integrantes. El primer sencillo de Camilo Séptimo se titula “Portales”, una canción que oscila entre el rock y el pop nostálgico, con guitarras reverberadas, sintetizadores que tejen atmósferas soñadoras, baterías up tempo amarradas por sólidas líneas de bajo que en ocasiones protagoniza un riff; tres elementos que aportan un colchón sonoro adecuado para que la melodía de la voz respire con fluidez.
