About Coyote Island
Coyote Island is the creative project of Maine-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike O'Hehir. Mixing folk, reggae, pop, world music, and psychedelia, Mike crafts a unique sound aimed at healing and uplifting. With over 10 million streams and a growing fanbase, his music flows with intention and purpose.

After journeying from Maine to California and back, Mike returned home with a clear vision for Coyote Island, drawing inspiration from artists like MGMT and Milky Chance. His debut single, “Here Before,” garnered millions of streams, leading to collaborations with Matisyahu, Surfer Girl, and Mihali. His 2023 album Holy Illusion continues this momentum, blending reggae grooves with psychedelic beats and a powerful message of seeing beyond limitations.
