Cut from the West Coast and formed in Los Angeles, The Charities deliver a sound that feels timeless and full of heart. With lush harmonies and honest songwriting, the band blends classic soul influences with a modern energy. Driven by a love for classic music, The Charities have built a growing reputation for songs that hit just as hard on record as they do live. Made up of members with wide-ranging musical backgrounds, the group pulls from all of their influences and channels it into a shared love for 1960s and 70s soul music. Working alongside producer Anthony Masino and recording at Penrose Recorders, the band continues to shape a sound rooted in warm analog tones, haunting background vocals, and expressive rhythm. From standout tracks like “Angel Eyes” and “Bring Your Love” to releases through Colemine Records including “Fatal Attraction” and “It’s Not Our Time” The Charities continue carving out a sound that feels both nostalgic and unmistakably their own. Whether performing in intimate clubs, theaters, or festival crowds, The Charities bring an energy that lingers long after the music has ended.
