About Chase Atlantic
From humble beginnings in their Northeast Australia hometown to worldwide acclaim and ferocious sets on some of the planet’s biggest stages, the alt-pop trio Chase Atlantic are riding high on a wave of their own creation. And with the recent release of their much-anticipated third EP, DON’T TRY THIS, and a sophomore full-length on the way, 2019 looks to be their biggest year yet.
Mitchel Cave and his older brother Clinton formed Chase Atlantic with their best friend, Christian Anthony, in 2014. Combining sounds from their favorite genres—from pop to electro to rock and R&B—they began fusing together an experimental sound that retained catchiness and hooks. Adding live instrumentation and vocals to the mix, the trio recognized their work’s
undeniable groove and edge, an eclectic and unique hybrid of dark, rhythmic, and emotional sound—not to mention their shared bond and ability to make singular decisions as a hive mind.
They quickly developed a following in their home country, with fans flocking to their infectious live shows and embracing the confident honesty in their storytelling. The viral single “Friends” caught the ears of Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden, who signed Chase Atlantic to their esteemed LA-based music company, MDDN, in 2016. They released a pair of EPs and a self-titled debut LP in 2017, leading to an endless string of sold-out headline shows and tours around the world. Despite all the rapid-fire success, the band work hard to maintain and increase their high-level work ethic, sticking to their guns when it comes to their method of making music and refusing to compromise any of their creativity, control, or—most importantly—their joy.
DON’T TRY THIS finds Chase Atlantic operating at the height of their powers, with six songs that showcase the wide-ranging breadth of their abilities to reveal a darker side of their existence. The EP highlights the band’s sonic eclecticism, knack for hooks, and cool, confident delivery, with the wide variety of influences sure to hit home with fans of Post Malone, The Neighbourhood, The 1975, and The Weeknd. Chase Atlantic are taking a similar approach to
their new LP, fueled by their obsession with creation, songwriting, and beat-making and refusing to conform to any one sound as their spotlight only continues to grow. “We’re always learning and trying different things while being as expressive as possible without losing integrity,” Mitchel says. “We’re in it for the long journey, and we have a broad music-making spectrum. We’ve done everything ourselves—we’re gonna do our shit ’til the day we die.”

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.
Only issue was that I had standing originally
but when the venue got change I was moved to seats, I ask why I was moved and apparently it’s because they had sold out of ‘standing’ which was not the case because as Friday came along the released to the public a ton of standing tickets! So most of the people who had standing was moved to seats and people who never had tickets before got standing! I felt that the whole situation wasn’t dealt with professionally or fairly!
But at the end of the day I had an amazing night! Hopefully I’ll see them at reading and when you guys tour again in the UK!
(Considering I was at the back the view was pretty incredible! Not so much on camera but real life 10/10)

Chase Atlantic was really great! I was so excited seeing that they were going on tour, let alone having a show in my hometown and that I was able to get a ticket. They did really great, the openers were good too, and when it was finally time for Chase Atlantic to come out, I was so excited. The venue is small, the past three shows I've seen we're also at this venue unfortunately; so never a fan of this place because of how small it is and how crowded it gets with people touching and leaning against you the whole time. Not as hot as last time with people passing out from the heat, so I guess that's good. Will for sure look forward to Chase Atlantic touring again and hope to be able to get a ticket again

There were some things that didn’t go very smoothly. The VIP happened around 5:30 instead of 4, the shipment of the extras that come with VIP did not come in on time, and their other opener Xavier Mayne could not be there due to visa issues. Plus later on Leah Kate, one of their openers had tech issues while performing. Once everything was figured out, honestly one of the best experiences ever. I love the production, the vocals, and obviously the band. I’m a bit biased because I love them but I’d 100% recommend this even with the issues to just about anyone. Plus they fixed the issue of the VIP extras; they are mailing them to peoples addresses :) Overall, 5 stars cuz I love them and it was amazing! 😂

This show was my absolute favorite concert I have ever been to in my entire life. VIP was super fun and interactive. The boys preformed great there and during the actual show. They stopped the concert to send in EMTs for a girl who passed out in the middle of the pit, they then proceeded to spend 10 minutes handing us all waters. They were so kind. The visuals, songs, and their performance was amazing and every single person in the crowd enjoyed themselves. I wish I could go to tonight’s NYC show because of how good yesterday’s was. Chase Atlantic will forever be my favorite band and live performers. (Not to mention both of their openers were fantastic as well!)

I love Chase Atlantic. Sadly, I couldn’t get vip to get a picture with them because the tickets were all sold out. I’m eleven, and Mitchel met my sister at the airport and took a photo with her, but I wasn’t a fan at that time and I was 10. If you have anyway to contact with them and let them read this, I would love that. I just wanted to say that I love you guys so much and you have changed the way I look at things and people. I have grown so much and changed my attitude towards everyone because I listened to your music! My phone number is 8303570338. I LOVE YALL SO MUCH! 🩷
