Pavlo Lenchenko, aka CEPASA, is a Ukrainian electronic artist, composer and producer based in Kyiv. His work combines electronic production with live instrumentation, vocals and elements of Ukrainian poetry, moving between concert performance and club context. He began his career as a member of Tomato Jaws (2006–2013) before launching CEPASA in 2012. Since then, he has released multiple albums and developed an audiovisual live show presented across Europe. He has performed alongside GusGus, DJ Koze, Jan Blomqvist and Darkside, with his work featured by DJ Mag and Vogue, awarded the YUNA 2017 Ukrainian National Music Award. His collaborations include dOP and Ukrainian cultural icon Nina Matvienko, while his music has reached international audiences through sync placements, including the official soundtrack of Forza Horizon 3, as well as film and documentary projects. His catalogue has attracted remixes from artists such as Rampa, Alexkid and Re.You. During the full-scale war in Ukraine, CEPASA created works reflecting the country’s emotional and cultural reality. His track “Kyiv” (2022) became one of his most recognized releases, surpassing 5 million streams and resonating both locally and internationally. Recent projects, including the album “Серце” (2025) and the soundtrack work “Sand Castles” (2026), continue to develop his direction — balancing cinematic composition with club-oriented material. He is also a co-creator of Promin’26 with Artem Borodatiuk, a project reinterpreting Ukrainian musical heritage through contemporary electronic production. Working across electronic music, live performance and cultural context, CEPASA represents a distinct voice from Ukraine within the global electronic scene.
