CABIN FEVER Cabin Fever is an italian rock and roll band formed in Pisa in the rainy autumn of 2012. Singer Renato Terziani e guitarist Dario De Ruberto started jammin’ on some old Terziani’s songs, trying to make them bluesy and soul. They also found the good mood for writing new songs and they called to help them their friends and great musicians Valerio Sereni, on the bass, Emiliano Marianelli, on guitar, and Antonio Inserillo on drums. The sound of Cabin Fever is mainly influenced by southern rock bands like the skynerd and the zz top, some hard rock of the seventies like led zeppelin, and obviously by the great riffs of rolling stones. Singles “little lady” and “carry on” are available on digital stores, “carry on” is also a videclip filmed by the director Daniele “Danzo” Milano (danzoshots@gmail.com) on the riverside of Serchio, close to their home town. ------------------------------------IT------------------------------------------------------- La band nasce a Pisa nel piovoso autunno del 2012 quando il chitarrista Dario De Ruberto ed il talentuoso vocalist Renato Terziani cominciano a jammare con una certa frequenza. Presto si unisce il bassista e compositore Valerio Sereni, che oltre al proprio talento e alla sua grande esperienza porta nella band il vulcanico chitarrista Emiliano Marianelli ed il professionista delle pelli Antonio Inserillo. Lo stile della band è caratterizzato dalla grande influenza del rock blues classico con una vena sia hard rock che soul. Un rock sanguigno, a tratti southern, persino country, in cui gli intrecci di chitarra, i prepotenti riff, e una solida sezione ritmica accompagnano con grande groove il canto graffiante del vocalist. Alcuni brani sono presentati volontariamente in versione scarna, acustica, con l’utilizzo di chitarre slide e armonica, quindi anche il folk americano può essere annoverato tra i geni di influenza. Tra le band di riferimento dei Cabin Fever possiamo annoverare i Black Crowes, gli Skynerd, The Allman brothers, i Led Zeppelin, e, ovviamente, i Rolling Stones.
