Clap Clap Riot are a five-piece guitar pop band from Auckland, New Zealand, known for their raw and energetic songwriting and magnetic live shows. They have released three albums and one EP since their inception, the last two of which were nominated for the Best Rock Album at the VNZMA's. They have had two songs shortlisted for the Apra Silver Scrolls (‘Everyone’s Asleep’ and ‘Back Into Your Life’) and their album Nobody/Everybody was listed at #8 in the NZ Herald's best albums of 2014. Their third record 'Dull Life' was released to critical acclaim in April 2017. The band is preparing to release their fourth studio album in late 2026, kicking off with the raw yet catchy single 'Like a Lover' in March 2026.
