90年代初頭よりテクノ/エレクトロサウンドの製作を開始。 95年『ATARI TEENAGE RIOT』を筆頭とした『DHR (Digital Hardcore Recordings)』のアーティスト達の影響によりハードコアサウンドに傾倒する。 様々なバンド、ユニットでの活動を経て2001年に『Custom Mummy』を結成、2007年には神崎晃とのデジタルハードコア・ユニット『AKIRADEATH』を結成、2013年より『Coakira』名義でのソロ活動を開始。更に2017年より札幌で活躍するNp 犬田彦とのスピードコアパンク・ユニット『犬殺-INUKORO-』の活動を開始している。 Coakira名義ではデジタル･ハードコア、スピードコア、テラーコア、ガバ、エクストラトーンなど激しく凶悪なハードコアテクノを中心に製作。 また、Akira Sato名義ではミニマルミュージック、アンビエント、エクスペリメンタルなどCoakiraとは対照的な静寂と混沌に包まれたサウンドを構築している。 2015年より自主レーベル『Fujimi Industry Records』を発足し、現在までにハードコアテクノ、エクスペリメンタルを中心に日本、台湾、アメリカ、カナダ、チリ、フランス、ウクライナ、ベラルーシ、チェコなど国内外のアーティストの作品をリリースしている。
