Dabu Fantastic sind wieder da. Und erlauben sich für einmal eine Prise Nostalgie. Im neuen Song «Freedrinks und Applaus» zeichnen sie nämlich mit liebevollen, groben Strichen ihre bisherige Karriere nach. Während sich die Musik im Song gleichzeitig so verändert, wie sich der Sound der Band in den letzten 20 Jahren gewandelt hat: Von charmanter MPC-Rapmusik zu grossen Mundarthymnen. Aber weil Dabu, wie er selbst sagt, eigentlich kein nostalgischer Typ ist, richtet sich dieser Song vor allem nach vorne: An ihr geliebtes Publikum und die nächste Phase des gemeinsamen Weges. Für Dabu Fantastic hat dieser Weg vergangenen Frühling in einem Studio in Südfrankreich begonnen. Dort haben sie gemeinsam als ganze Band am kommenden Album gearbeitet, das am 19. März 2027 erscheint. Zu diesem Anlass wird es die Band endlich auch wieder live zu sehen geben. Sie spielen drei Release-Shows in der Mühle Hunziken. Im März 2027 – nach ihrer längsten Livepause. Mit neuen Songs, neuem Look und grösster Vorfreude, auf alles, was kommt. Im Zentrum steht dabei das, was Dabu Fantastic seit Jahren auszeichnet: Dabus Texte & ihre Konzerte. Beides gemacht mit vollem Herzeinsatz und echter Handarbeit. Und beides voll mit dieser ehrlichen Präsenz. Mit diesen drei Release-Shows erzählt die Band so ihre erfolgreiche Livegeschichte der vergangenen Jahre weiter. Mit grösstem Spass.
