Diego Antonio Caccia Torres (born March 9, 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine pop singer, songwriter and actor, son of legendary Argentine artist Lolita Torres. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide and is a three-time Latin GRAMMY winner with 17 Latin GRAMMY nominations, also recognized by the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame. He launched his debut album "Diego Torres" in 1992, produced by Cachorro López, certified triple platinum. Two years later "Tratar de Estar Mejor" sold over 700,000 copies worldwide, propelling him onto the international scene. "Luna Nueva" (1996), produced by Italian producer Celso Valli, took him on tour across Latin America, the United States and Spain. In 1999 he released "Tal Cual Es" (Cachorro López), and in 2001 "Un Mundo Diferente" arrived with "Color Esperanza" — co-written with Coti Sorokin — which became an international anthem of hope, topped charts across Latin America, Spain and Europe, and was later reimagined in 2020 as a global pandemic relief single featuring Thalía, Carlos Vives, Camilo, Reik, Rubén Blades, Prince Royce and many others. In 2004 he recorded "MTV Unplugged", which sparked an international tour through 54 cities in 17 countries. "Andando" (2006) followed, then "Distinto" (2010), which gave him his first #1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs with "Guapa". "Buena Vida" (2015) was nominated for a GRAMMY, and after "Diego Torres Sinfónico" (2020, with Colombia's Orquesta Filarmónica Joven) and "Atlántico a Pie" (2021), he released "Mejor Que Ayer" (2024). His most recent album, "Mi Norte & Mi Sur" (2025), features collaborations with Estopa, Miranda!, Edén Muñoz and Manuel Carrasco, and is the centerpiece of his current world tour.
