Dami Im is a multi-platinum and gold-certified artist, Eurovision royalty, and one of Australia's most celebrated singer-songwriters. Beginning her musical journey as a virtuoso pianist, Dami's career spans over a decade and is marked by a string of acclaimed albums and unforgettable performances. After completing her Master's in Contemporary Voice, she rose to national fame as the winner of The X Factor Australia, quickly becoming a household name. Since then, Dami has graced stages around the world - from the Sydney Opera House and Byron Bay Bluesfest to the Asia Songfest K-Pop Festival, Beijing Global Gala, and beyond. Her iconic performance of Sound of Silence at the Eurovision Song Contest cemented her international status, with the song charting in 43 countries and earning her the title of Eurovision Royalty. In addition to touring with John Legend, Dami continues to expand her musical horizons. In 2023, she collaborated with jazz great James Morrison, returning to her roots in jazz and classical music while continuing to evolve as a versatile and powerful artist. It was amazing to be at the concert where Dami launched her new EP, In Between. She sang all the songs from the album. A lovely medley of songs from X factor. Plenty of old favourites. Ending with Sound if Silence. Always a show stopper. It was a smaller venue but a sold out show, so there was a great atmosphere. Wonderful concert. She also did signing off EPs after the show. Dami is an amazing performer, with an exceptional voice, but she's also down to earth and appreciates her loyal fans.
Brisbane Powerhouse Brisbane, AustraliaNight two at the Vanguard was just as magical with Dami delivering another stunning performance full of emotion, humour and incredible musicianship. The intimate setting made every song feel personal with Dami's incredible voice shining throughout. It was also wonderful seeing first-time audience members so captivated by the show as you could tell from their reactions that Dami had won over plenty of new fans. Dami is an extraordinary artist and one of the most humble and genuine performers you'll ever see.
The Vanguard Newtown, AustraliaDami as always is the consummate professional. What sets her apart is how she reaches out to identify with and acknowledge her supporters. A couple, Michael and Youla, celebrating 54 years of marriage were named by Dami. Truly magical. The seats at the venue were below standard however. This did not detract from the night where Dami graciously met longtime DamiArmy supporters after the show, despite needing to whisk off for a drive back to Sydney
