Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Disembodied established itself as one of the heaviest bands in hardcore and one of the pioneers of hc/metal fusion during its career. Formed in 1995, the band's first release would be "Existence in Suicide" on Furface Records. "The Confession" Disembodied's follow-up 7", would be published by Moo Cow Records. Shortly after, the band would join forces with Ferret Music , releasing a full-length, "Diablerie", split with Brother's Keeper "Oxymoron" and the CDEP "If God only knew the rest were dead". Prior to the band's demise, Disembodied would record its final release, "Heretic" for Edison Recordings (Coalsece, Overcast). Fans of low-tuned guitars and almost sludgy metallic hardcore should check out Disembodied.
