DJ SLICK was highly involved in ”RnB Bounce” Perth’s first Urban radio show on Fairfax Media´s 96FM with number one ratings, which was difficult for an industry dominated by commercial pop, rock and dance. He was also involved in the radio show “The Drop” on Perth´s Not-For-Profit youth radio station Groove 101.7FM. DJ SLICK organised a series of SHAKE Under 18 Dance Parties for the Perth youth exposing the potential enjoyment of music genres in a safe, fun and social environment playing his own mixes streamlined with laser lights, smoke machines and confetti cannons.
