Michael Gene Dionne, better known as Eyenine, is a hip hop artist from Dover, New Hampshire. He started writing and recording music at 16, inspired by artists like Eyedea, Sage Francis, Adeem, and Atmosphere. He’s toured across the country alongside artists including PT Burnem, Paulie Think, Ecid, Prhym8, and Farout. Eyenine helped launch Flyrock Records, an independent label that released music from a range of New England artists including The If In Life, Rio Bravo, and The Nasty. After years of freestyling at Rap Night in Portland, Maine, he went on to win multiple tournaments throughout the Northeast and Midwest, including two Ruckus Cup Classic battles, Church of Providence battles hosted by B. Dolan and refereed by Sage Francis, and the first-ever Overcast tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio. Through Real Hood Music LLC, a brand of Wu-Tang Management, Eyenine released three albums and toured nationally with legendary Wu-Tang Clan members RZA and GZA, as well as opening on The Man With The Iron Fists tour. Currently, Eyenine is preparing to release two albums in 2026, and co-runs the weekly Rap Night Manchester, which is the longest-running Rap Night in New Hampshire, now entering its 13th year. The event regularly features touring artists from across the country while continuing to spotlight local and independent talent from around New England.
