Mit „Life Is Just What Happens“ legen enVivo ihr mittlerweile drittes Album vor. Musikalisch eigenständig und leidenschaftlich präsentiert die Band dabei wieder Singer/Songwriter-Pop, angereichert aus dem weiten musikalischen Feld in dem sich die Bandmitglieder zu Hause fühlen. Rock, Pop, Latin, Blues und Folk gehen eine geschmackvolle Symbiose ein und sorgen für ein unverwechselbares Hörerlebnis. Alexandra Kayser, auf den Philippinen geboren und in Spanien aufgewachsen, ist mit ihrer eindrucksvollen Stimme Herz und Kopf von enVivo. In englischen und spanischen Texten erzählt sie in ausdrucksstarken Songs Kurzgeschichten, die den Zuhörer auf einen Abstecher in den chaotisch blühenden Dschungel des Lebens entführen. Auf dem aktuellen Album teilt sie sich den Songschreiber*innen-Posten erstmals mit Marcus Hetzel, dem Gitarristen der Band, was die Bandbreite an Songs und Geschichten um eine neue Facette erweitert. Gemeinsam mit Alexander Fuchs am Bass und Michael Wünsch an Schlagzeug und Percussion ist der Band ein wunderbar abwechslungsreiches Album gelungen, dessen Musik nicht in eine Schublade gehört, sondern in die Ohren der geneigten Hörer.
