C’est en 1992 que le groupe EXTERIO fait son apparition dans la banlieue montréalaise de l’Île-Bizard. Leur premier album, « Vous êtes ici!! », sort en 2003 et qui n'a pas vu le fameux clip de Whippet et chanté « Ça pogne dins dents des whippets fondants quand tu mords dedans ça fait « skouik skouik skouik »? Au fil des ans, grâce à ce ver d'oreille, à de futures chansons plus sérieuses et à un spectacle travaillé au quart de tour, EXTERIO se construit une base de fans à la loyauté infaillible. En 2008, le band réalise son chant du cygne sous la forme de L'album Monstre : 33 chansons réparties sur un disque vendu en magasin, un album numérique et un coffret vendu exclusivement en spectacle. EXTERIO continue de nous prouver qu’il a toujours sa place au Québec.
