The band hailing from Cambridge, mix elements of Folk/Pop, Country, Rock and West Coast with a 70’s retro vibe but presented in a fresh and modern way. The five piece have racked up 400 gigs in the past 5 years and are rapidly gaining a following and reputation for their outstanding live shows across the UK, having scooped two awards at the Annual NMG Awards; 'Best Folk/Roots Band' and 'Audience Choice Award' as voted for by the public. Fred’s House released their debut album Bonnie & Clyde in 2014 to critical acclaim, grabbing 4 and 5 star reviews across the board. With festival performances on the main stage at the Acoustic Festival of Britain and Cambridge Folk Festival under their belt, the band has also supported the likes of Eddi Reader, Ward Thomas and The Shires, received national airplay on BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Wales, live sessions on BBC Introducing and championed by Radio 2 Bob Harris’ when invited to perform for his ‘Under the Apple Tree’ sessions.
