Their latest album ‘Renegade’ is an emotional powerhouse that encompasses a lot: a lot of fear, a lot of trust, a lot of anger, a lot of hope. It calls on listeners to confront both the objective and subjective challenges of life, to open their eyes, and to stand up for values like self-determination, equality, tolerance, and compassion. The sound of ‘Renegade’ combines modern pop elements with powerful guitar riffs and intense drums. The previous albums ‘Endings = Beginnings’ and ‘Golden Rust’ already paved the way for the band to rediscover themselves musically. ‘Golden Rust’ reached number 61 in the German album charts and showed where the band was heading. With ‘Renegade’, FLASH FORWARD continue on this path and continue to improve - the album reached number 49 in the German charts. The band proves once again that they can interpret the ‘pop’ in ‘pop-punk’ in a new and innovative way without losing their alternative roots.
