Formed in 1993 by Norman Cook and Ashley Slater, Freak Power had a very large hit record in 1995 (Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out). They released 2 albums and split up in 1999. Ashley revived the band in the 2010s and they have continued to release new material and tour minimally since then.
