Fiend, born Richard Anthony Jones, is a pioneering rapper, producer, and Southern hip-hop icon from New Orleans, Louisiana. Known for his deep, resonant voice and commanding presence, Fiend first made his mark in the mid-1990s as a standout figure in Master P’s No Limit Records movement. His breakout album *There's One in Every Family* (1998) cemented his place in Southern hip-hop, and his unmistakable vocal style earned him the nickname "Mr. Whomp Whomp." In 2024, Fiend has teamed up with No Limit alum Mac for the *Tank Doggs* tour, celebrating the 25th anniversaries of their timeless classics *Street Life* and *World War III*.
