Gregorio Uribe is a Colombian singer-songwriter, accordionist, and Latin GRAMMY® nominee whose work reimagines the sound of Colombian roots music for a global stage. A Berklee College of Music graduate, he has performed at iconic venues including Tiny Desk, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. His collaborations span legends such as Rubén Blades, Carlos Vives, and Paquito D’Rivera, alongside revered folkloric masters Alfredo Gutiérrez, Carmelo Torres, and Martina Camargo. ----------------------------------------- Gregorio Uribe es un cantautor y acordeonista colombiano, nominado al Latin GRAMMY®. Egresado de Berklee College of Music, ha llevado su música a escenarios de gran prestigio como Tiny Desk, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden y el New Orleans Jazz Festival, entre otros. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha colaborado con destacados artistas como Rubén Blades, Carlos Vives y Paquito D’Rivera, así como con grandes maestros del folclor como Alfredo Gutiérrez, Carmelo Torres y Martina Camargo. Ha sido reconocido por el gobierno colombiano como uno de los “100 Colombianos Más Exitosos en el Exterior” y ha recibido distinciones de la ciudad de Boston y del estado de Massachusetts por su valiosa contribución a la música latina. Actualmente se encuentra trabajando en su cuarto álbum de estudio, una propuesta innovadora que amplía las posibilidades expresivas del acordeón colombiano. Recognized as one of the “100 Most Successful Colombians Abroad,” Uribe has also received honors from the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for his contributions to Latin music. He is currently recording his fourth studio album, an innovative body of work that expands the expressive possibilities of the Colombian accordion.
