The South Tyrolean musician Herbert Pixner is now no longer a secret and one of the hottest and most creative harmonica players in the Alps. Whether in the diatonic accordion, the clarinet, saxophon, trumpet or the flugelhorn - Herbert Pixner understands it like no other, the split between traditional folk music, exciting original compositions and fantastic world of improvised music to stretch.
Together with Werner Unterlercher (doublebass) Manuel Randi (gipsy-guitar, flamenco-guitar & e-guitar) and Heidi Pixner (accustic harp) are known, the for musicians as Herbert Pixner Projekt, a total Tyrolean music project from italy and austria which only one aim: "To play good, hand-made and entertaining music."
