Hiro è una band formata nel 2011 da Gennaro Lecora (voce, chitarra acustica) Alfredo Guida (Lead Guitar) Gianmarco Angelone (Basso) Luca Oliveri (batteria, cori). Amore, le speranze, le paure, ciò che è giusto e ciò che è sbagliato, essere egoisti, inferno e paradiso...troverete tutte queste cose nei testi degli Hiro ,tra il sentirsi tristi e soddisfatti allo stesso tempo. Ma quando melodie malinconiche, con chitarre profonde e circostanti si fondono con i testi, il mondo degli Hiro è nato. Dal febbraio 2012 la band ha iniziato a registrare il suo primo album “In The Middle of Nowhere”, uscito nel dicembre 2012 e disponibile su tutti gli store digitali e su 80055records.eu. Nel 2013 la band ha iniziato il tour promozionale dell'album, partecipando a numerose trasmissioni radiofoniche e suonando in numerosi locali campani. Nel gennaio 2014 Domenico Piramide diventa nuovo bassista della band. Nel 2015 iniziano i lavori del nuovo progetto che, nonostante una involontaria pausa ed il ridimensionamento della band, (escono A. Guida e D. Piramide) viene portato a termine in duo, insieme al produttore Fabrizio Alessandrini, in veste di chitarrista/bassista. La nuova band con il nuovo nome IRO, formata da Gennaro Lecora e Luca Oliveri, pubblica nel 2016 il nuovo album Time Bent. Dicono di noi: ...voce e nudità strutturali, che rivelano la capacità di scrivere ballate e brani capaci di durare. Federico Vacalebre (Il Mattino) ...sentendo i dieci brani dell'album, potreste tranquillamente scambiarli per una band originaria di Manchester o Liverpool.
