About Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone
Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is a multi-talented entertainer, who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. He was born in Manchester, England, where he studied voice and acting at St. Bede’s College and the Manchester School of Music and Drama. As a child, he played “Stanley Fairclough” in the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street. He was also featured in the television series Knight Errant, Family Solicitor and Monro’s Saki Stories. At the age of fifteen, Peter achieved international fame as Herman’s Hermits, lead singer of the legendary Sixties pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits included: “I’m Into Something Good” “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got A Lovely Daughter”, “I’m Henry VIII, I Am”, “Silhouettes”, “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat”, “Just A Little Bit Better”, “Wonderful World”, “There’s A Kind of Hush”, “A Must To Avoid”, “Listen People”, “The End of the World” and “Dandy”. Ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over sixty million recordings. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold. The Hermits were twice named Cashbox’s “Entertainer of the Year”. As “Herman”, the photogenic Noone graced the cover of nearly every international publication, including Time Magazine. He performed on hundreds of top-rated television programs and appeared with such luminaries as Ed Sullivan, Jackie Gleason, Dean Martin and Danny Kaye. He also starred in ABC’s musical version of The Canterville Ghost, Hallmark Hall of Fame’s presentation of the classic Pinocchio (in which he played the title role) and three highly successful feature films for M-G-M: Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, Hold On! and When The Boys Meet The Girls. Throughout the seventies, Noone performed, composed songs and produced recordings with such artists as David Bowie, Debby Boone and Graham Gouldman. His album with the Tremblers, “Twice Nightly” and his solo effort “One of The Glory Boys” were both critically and commercially successful. With characteristic zeal, Peter took on leading roles in full-scale theatrical productions of Dick Wittington, Aladdin, and Sinbad The Sailor. These live stage spectaculars were mounted at major theatres throughout Great Britain and Noone was highly praised for his outstanding work. The eighties found Peter starring on Broadway in the New York Shakespeare Festival’s production of The Pirates of Penzance. He won rave reviews for his superb portrayal of the dashing, young hero, “Frederic”. His performance was so well received, that he went on to reprise the role at the world-famous Drury Lane Theatre in London. Noone charmed audiences worldwide as he continued to play “Frederic” with both the U.S. National Touring Company and the International Touring Company of “Pirates”. Peter’s acting career flourished with guest-starring roles in prime-time television shows such as: Married With Children, My Two Dads, Quantum Leap, Dave’s World, Easy Street, Too Close For Comfort and Laverne and Shirley. He also starred in the Los Angeles stage premiere of Topokana Martyr’s Day and the U.S. National Tour of the smash Broadway hit Romance, Romance. For four years, Noone served as the winsome host of VH1’s My Generation, the highest-ever-rated half hour retrospective of popular music. He also hosted the informative PBS Special The British Invasion Returns and recorded the title song for the Kirk Douglas film Diamonds. He created two unique websites (peternoone.com and hermanshermits.com) that have become so popular, the New York Daily News dubbed him the “King of The Sixties on the Internet.” Accompanied by his band, Herman’s Hermits, Noone consistently plays to sold-out venues the world over. He has a legion of faithful fans (known as “Noonatics”) whose loyalty is unparalleled. Today’s teen girls scream just as passionately as their mothers did back in 1965, prompting VH1 to select Peter as their viewer’s choice for the “Sexiest Artist of the Year”. Most recently, Noone starred in the recurring role of “Paddington” on the CBS daytime drama, As The World Turns. His colorful performances instantly made him a favorite of the soap opera magazines and online message boards. There is no doubt that Peter Noone’s extraordinary talent, disarming wit, handsome features and compelling stage presence will continue to delight fans of all ages, for a long, long time to come.

The show was awesome, as usual! Mr. Noone is truly an entertainer in that he engages the entire audience, of all ages. I've always loved Herman's Hermits, and their music is timeless. Everyone leaves his concerts feeling uplifted, that's what it's all about. This particular show was no exception. His interaction with fans after his shows is wonderful; he makes you feel like a true friend. I've since joined his fan club, and plan on attending more shows. Mr. Noone is a true "keeper of the flame" of the British Invasion of popular music. Here's to many more great shows!

What a great lineup at this performance, Shades of Blue, Chris Ruggiero, Vogues, Loving Spoonfull and of course, Peter Noone. This was our 4th time seeing Peter and his performances never get old. Peter holds the crowd in his hand, he makes the audience part of his act along with his talented band members. We are looking forward to the next time we have the opportunity to see him again. The best part was getting to actually meet him and talk to him after the show. Ten more years Peter!!!!+

We had such a wonderful time! He is even more talented than I remember. The jokes and banter had everyone laughing. I think his voice has improved with age. He sang a Johnny Cash song in a strong baritone, yet had the youthful tenor for the ones we remember. He still looks young and is agile in his movements on the stage. The venue was nice, but they could have sold more seats if they had been available. We are thinking about attending his Omaha concert.

Peter Noone is a truly fantastic entertainer!! He always puts on a great, energetic and fun show. His voice is actually better now than it was in the 60's. I had never been to Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati before and it is a nice venue. It is kinda small, but the the sound was good and it was a good crowd. We ate in the restaurant upstairs. Don't do that. I had a Cod sandwich and after the show I got very very sick from it. Still not over it.

Peter is the best! There is no one I'd rather see than Peter and his amazing band. He puts his heart and soul into the entire show and humor is off the charts. Every song is a favorite and he is totally energized through the entire show from start to finish! Yet he can slow it down and sing beautiful ballads like Listen People and my favorite The End of the World. City Springs did a great job hosting. It is a great place for a concert. I hope he returns next year.

This is my 3rd time seeing Herman’s Hermits, and they never disappoint. His voice is still genuine and clear, and he makes every show, so much fun. He went into the Audience and not every performer would. He seems so comfortable with his fans and they Love him for it. I was extremely happy, but surprised that there was no opening act, so they were all ours, for the duration. I was happy and extremely satisfied I attended, and I hope I get the opportunity to do it again. Thanks Tim McGoldrick. Fort Myers, Florida

Each concert is quite special...but this one definitely has a forever place in my Heart! We took our grandaughter to her first concert! She is in the 6th grade, just as I was in 1965 when seeing Herman's Hermits the first time! We all had a wonderful time...from the pre-concert dinner, to the show filled with great music, fun, and lots of smiles, to talking to Peter afterwards, getting autographs & photos! The night was one we'll always remember....and can't wait to do it again!

Saw the show at Epcot. It was crazy. The standby line started to form at 1:30 for the 5:30 performance. I have never seen so many people for any music event at Epcot. The performance was a lot of fun. Peter Noone sang a lot of his hits. He puts a lot of energy into his performance. Everyone sang along to the hits. This is our 4th time seeing Herman's Hermits and we will be back again.

Outstanding concert! Great energy and Peter still sounds wonderful. He is great musician and entertainer, very funny! Peter showed his true colors going from the stage (hot and wet from Georgia heat and humidity) to meet and greet with a minimum of 250 / 300 fans!! He signed autographs and did photos for everyone! A truly great show from amazing person. I would be remiss if I did not mention the outstanding opening act, Vintage Vixens. They were terrific opening with great music.

I went with my sister to see this concert. He was amazing! We both thoroughly enjoyed and can't wait to see him again! We loved how chatty he was with the audience. We loved his singing of course. The Hermits were also wonderful. Can't say enough of what a great singer and entertainer he is! And so handsome!! With his busy schedule Peter really has so much energy. You can tell that he really loves what he is doing!
