About Invidia
Invidia is a metal band based out of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The band was formed in March 2012. Two of the original four founding members-- guitarist Brad Feeney and drummer Nestor Matute-- joined forces with bassist Matt Luz, formerly of Between The Lines, in July 2013 after a series of lineup changes. This three-piece combines atonality and odd-meter rhythms with powerful choruses and melodic leads. Crossing countless influences of metal, hardcore, and punk, Invidia has trademarked a distinct sound. The band made their debut in June 2012 at 3065 Live in Wareham, Massachusetts, and released their first EP in October 2012 at The Middle East in Cambridge, MA. Invidia is currently writing material for a 2014 full-length release. The band is also in search of a lead vocalist.
