After performing sold out shows across multiple different states and being recruited for international tours in Canada and Australia, JUMP has positioned themselves as one of the top up and coming Van Halen tributes on the planet. Delivering two hours of classic David Lee Roth era Van Halen, the Toledo, Ohio based band lineup is composed of a group of youngsters all born in the mid-late 90’s and early 2000’s. While their age offers a visual aesthetic true to Van Halen in their prime, their sound also reflects the same shredding Eddie guitar solos, rock solid rhythm section, and the whaling two-tone screams reminiscent of David Lee Roth’s voice. Featuring a variety of hits and deep cuts off of the first 6 albums, JUMP’s live show includes a selection of skits and one liners portrayed by Van Halen from bootlegs of their live shows between 1978-1984. This was our 3rd time seeing the band and they did not disappoint! They really bring the energy and have the look and sound of Van Halen (David Lee Roth era). Eddie Van Halen would be extremely proud of the guitarist because he has the sound down pat! The singer has the moves and attitude of Roth and is very entertaining. We can’t recommend this show enough! If they come anywhere near you, do yourself a favor and go see them!
Millwald Theatre Wytheville, VAGreat band . Vocals and musicianship was second to none. The band I'm in,opened for them. They were so nice,even let us share their dressing room. I had a nice conversation with the lead singer about playing piano, I'm a keyboard player. They mentioned my band ,many times at the end of the gig. Quality performers, and good decent guys. It was a real pleasure. They totally rocked the Backseat in Virginia. Thank you !!
Backseat Events Winchester, VAWow! Simply amazing. Saw a live version of the original VH where Eddie messed up on the lead in a song and this guitarist did the same... very talented to play both parts... the good and the bad. Lead Vocals are well deserved to be... as the Bass and Drums are just... f!$%ing spot on. Need a Michael Anthony backing vocal tho... and that fulfils THE MOST BEST VH cover band out there in my opinion... JUMP!
Northwest Ohio Rib Off Toledo, OHMy first concert was David Lee Roth on the Skyscraper tour... I never got to see him with Van Halen. These guys make up for that. It was an amazing show. I will come back every time they visit Edwardsville. I'm bad with names, but the lead singer has managed to emulate David Lee Roth both physically and vocally even down to the weird mannerisms and stupid faces DLR makes. Truly a talented group of guys.
Wildey Theatre Edwardsville, IL3rd time seeing them and they do not disappoint. Such a great fun band with an amazing amount of talent. I felt bad for them that this show was not as heavily attended as it has been in the past. I think that may have been due to they did a show in February just down the road in Duluth. If you have the chance to see them, do not miss the opportunity!
