JoeyStarr. Rappeur, acteur, force brute du rap français. Co- fondateur du Suprême NTM, il a marqué l’histoire du rap par sa voix rageuse et sa présence magnétique. Sur scène, JoeyStarr et KoolShen ont enflammé les salles de concert dès les années 90, avant de triompher en 2008 avec cinq Bercy de suite, puis en 2010 avec un Parc des Princes. En 2018, le Suprême se réforme pour trois soirées exceptionnelles à Bercy, dont l’intégralité des places se sont vendues en seulement neuf minutes. En solo, il signe Gare au jaguar (2006) puis Egomaniac (2011), confirmant son identité brute et singulière. Il continue de se produire régulièrement en France et à l’étranger avec son collectif Live Soldierz SoundSystem, formé avec DJ Naughty J et Tuco Gadamn. Avec ce dernier, il signe l’album Carribbean Dandee en 2015. Artiste pluriel, il passe du micro à l’écran, du cinéma à la télévision, jusqu’à l’écriture et le théâtre. Icône populaire et insoumise, JoeyStarr est un artiste inclassable dont le regard, la rage et la parole continuent de marquer la scène musicale et culturelle française.
