Having performed in over 70 countries across six continents, Capriati's global influence continues to expand. In addition to his celebrated DJ career, Capriati has also collaborated with legendary artists such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Danny Tenaglia, Joey Beltram, DJ Pierre, and Louie Vega, showcasing his deep-rooted versatility and respect within the industry. Now almost 20 years into his illustrious career, the Italian is showcasing a new side to his sound, writing a new chapter as he continues to demonstrate why he remains one of the most well-respected names in electronic music. A DJ first and foremost, Capriati started in 1998 at age 11 in his hometown of Caserta before emerging as one of Napoli's brightest talents in 2006. Capriati's Metamorfosi residency at Amnesia Ibiza marked a turning point in his artistic evolution. Launched in 2022, the residency expanded significantly in the following years, with 2024 becoming one of his most impactful seasons on the island. This evolution showcased his growing influence and ability to curate immersive, transformative musical experiences. Capriati's journey continued to reach new heights with landmark achievements, including the acclaimed fabric 80 compilation, the launch of his label Redimension, and multiple awards such as the DJ Awards' 'Techno Master'. Known for his versatility, his back-to-back sets with Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Jamie Jones, and more have become legendary. His signature sound, blending house and techno, shines through in marathon sets like his iconic 25+ hour set in Miami (2017) and 27+ hours at Sunwaves in Romania. 2020 marked a pivotal moment with his third studio album, Metamorfosi, an experimental body of work symbolizing a new era of artistic exploration. This was followed by the launch of his Metamorfosi Ibiza residency at Amnesia, which expanded its run with each subsequent season, showcasing his evolution and versatility as an artist. Looking ahead, Capriati is thrilled to release his highly anticipated album, GU47: Joseph Capriati – Montreal, set to drop in March 2025. The album promises to deliver works from both house and techno, bridging the musical evolution that has spanned his career. In addition, his latest release, Meandri (Extended Mix), adds yet another layer to his evolving soundscape. In summer 2025, Capriati will also present his residency at Hï Ibiza, continuing his Metamorfosi concept with a series of innovative events, pushing the boundaries of house and techno while uniting an exciting array of artists. Taking place every Friday at the iconic Hï venue, the residency celebrates musical evolution and personal transformation, with carefully curated lineups featuring both renowned names and rising talents across electronic music. Further expanding his artistic vision, Capriati also launches Metamorfosi Records in 2025, a new label created in partnership with Insomniac as a distributor. This imprint will serve as a platform to explore cutting-edge sounds while showcasing both established and rising artists, reinforcing his commitment to shaping the future of electronic music.
