Jeanne Rouwendaal is sinds haar tiende levensjaar bezig met muziek. Van slagwerk in een orkest tot bassen in een meiden rockband tot zingen in een punkband: ze heeft het allemaal gedaan. In 2014 won Jeanne de publieksprijs tijdens de finale van de Grote Prijs van Nederland in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Nog geen jaar later nam Jeanne deel aan de Popronde, waar zij een van de tien meest geboekte acts was. In januari 2016 vertrok zij voor een maand naar Australië om daar haar tweede EP (opvolger van eerste EP ‘No’, 2014) op te nemen. Jeanne’s EP ‘Getting Close’ is in het voorjaar uitgebracht. Jeanne’s repertoire, (haast) altijd gespeeld op haar felgroene elektrische gitaar, varieert van kwetsbare ballads over de liefde tot rauwe nummers met een mening.
