Jets Overhead are a JUNO-nominated alternative rock band from Victoria, BC, whose expansive soundscapes, shimmering shoegaze textures, and soaring vocal harmonies have inspired a devoted following across Canada and beyond. Emerging in the mid-2000s, the band attracted international attention with Bridges, a groundbreaking pay-what-you-want release that earned the band their first JUNO nomination and cemented their status as boundary pushers in both sound and spirit. They followed with the acclaimed albums No Nations and Boredom and Joy, producing an alternative radio staple with “Heading for Nowhere” and earning significant TV placements in House, Bones, and Pretty Little Liars. Jets Overhead toured the world extensively until 2013, appearing at major festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, Edgefest, Shanghai World Expo, and the Vancouver Winter Olympics, while also sharing the stage with 54*40, Broken Social Scene, Sam Roberts, Our Lady Peace, Tegan and Sara, The Dears, Stars, and more. After spending more than a decade away from touring to raise young families, Jets Overhead are returning to live performance in fall 2026, reconnecting audiences with a deep catalogue that sits within a celebrated generation of Canadian indie music. This return coincides with a renewed creative period that has seen the band open its archives, releasing previously unheard music including the archive album Ordinary Dreamers – Rarities and Demos, Vol. 1 and the new single “When You Catch Me.”
